In 2022, TJ Pottery was established with a visionary goal to bring distinct, handcrafted pottery within everyone’s reach.

Tara Joshi, the dynamic artist and entrepreneur behind TJ Pottery, has an impressive background in the world of art. She earned dual degrees in Ceramics and Art History from the reputable University of Toledo in 2011. Post-graduation, Tara held a significant role at the esteemed Toledo Museum of Art, and later, she managed a local glass studio and gallery, honing her leadership and artistic skills simultaneously.

Throughout her illustrious career, Tara has successfully curated multiple juried exhibitions and noteworthy events, demonstrating her keen eye for quality and aesthetic appeal. Her journey in the art world took a new turn when she relocated to Saline, Michigan, with her family.

Following the move, Tara’s entrepreneurial spirit led her to establish her own ceramics studio – TJ Pottery. This venture not only serves as a platform for her unique creations but also allows her to share her knowledge and passion for ceramics by providing lessons in her studio.
